About this event

Charity & Causes • Poverty

Join in as we make sandwiches for people who use The Door Is Open in the downtown east side. This is a service event for students, alumni, staff, and faculty members of Corpus Christi College and St. Mark's College. We are open to having UBC students help out when space is available.

We make sandwiches (and other meals) during the Fall and Winter terms in classroom 308. We start at 12pm and finish around 1:15pm. Space is limited and we ask you to sign up so we know who is volunteering. This is a great time helping the less fortunate while having a good time with your peers!

All food supplies and equipment (gloves and aprons) will be provided.

We practice safe food handling techniques and instructions will be provided at the start.

If you have any questions, please contact Gerard Garcia at the Campus Life and Ministry Office at campusministry@corpuschristi.ca or by phone at 604-822-6862 ex. 125.

Sign up for additional service opportunities (Friday night Curbside) through the colleges here: https://bit.ly/corpuscurbsideoutreach
