About this event
Whether you're looking for an introduction to royal icing cookie decorating, or a special activity to do with friends, this is the class for you! I'll walk you through different techniques and tips on how to outline, flood and detail some of my favourite cookie designs with my weapon of choice - royal icing!
At the end of the class, you'll leave with not only your beautifully decorated cookies but also newfound skills and techniques that you can apply to your future baking endeavors. Whether you plan to impress your loved ones, find out if cookie decorating is for you, or just enjoy a fun little Christmas treat, this class promises to be an unforgettable experience.
Arrive to a glass of bubbly (OJ for the U18's of course!), and a mince pie, and spend the next couple of hours indulging in a little sweet escape.
We'll provide everything you need - the cookies, the icing, the tools, and a box for taking those yummy cookies home in and showing them off to the rest of the family!
Come along by yourself, with your bestie, or even make it a mummy-daughter trip. The class is for over 10's only, but don't worry, if you have under 10's that would love to get involved, you can order a take-away kit and have a fun time at home teaching them everything you learned in the class, I'll even send you the powerpoint presentation to follow step-by-step!
You'll leave with an understanding of the basics of sugar cookie decorating, your decorated cookies, plus goodies to take home, including my cookie & royal icing recipes, a cookie cutter & a little gift from me!
The class will be held in the Activation Suite at the Village Hotel on Forstal Road.
There is even a Starbucks and Pub & Grill on site if you want to purchase some refreshments or food before or after the class!

Besides having some fun! We will be working through step-by-step guide on how to decorate your cookies using some basic royal icing techniques
Yes! At check-out you will be offered the opportunity to purchase additional kits to take-home and show off your new cookie decorating skills to the family! I'll also send out the PowerPoint presentation to anyone who wants it so you can follow the same step-by-step process you will be in our class
We will be in the Activation Suite at the Village Hotel in Maidstone. Parking is free, and there is a Pub & Grill a Starbucks on site for any refreshments you might want to purchase on your way in or out
Our classes are for over 10's, and anyone under 14 needs to be accompanied by an adult taking the class too, but over 10, anything goes! Our take-away kits are perfect for the kids at home that want to get involved! Have some family fun at home teaching them all your newly learned skills!
You! We will provide everything you need for the class, including the cookies. If you feel like you might be a bit of a messy decorator, feel free to bring an apron along. I will have a supply of latex gloves to hand too if anyone requires them.

We understand that life happens so that’s why we allow you to cancel up to 14 days before the class. You can always transfer your spot to a friend though (and what a nice friend you are). Any cancelation within 14 days will be a class credit redeemable for up to 1 year from the credit issue date
Nope! No baking history required. We will have the cookies pre-made for you along with the icing already mixed and colored! I can help with questions on icing mixing and dough spread!
