The Santa Rita Cigar Smoker of the Year Dinner & Awards 2025 returns to Boisdale of Canary Wharf, the capital’s cigar sanctuary, for an evening of elegance, indulgence and good company. Featuring a Champagne reception, exquisite three-course dinner with Santa Rita wines, live entertainment, luxury gifts and a procession of awards, this black-tie gala brings together the brightest stars of cigar culture, from screen legends and chefs to athletes and artists.

What to Expect

Arguably the most important celebration of the cigar outside of Cuba. Boisdale of Canary Wharf, previously dubbed ‘The Havana of London’ by the Cuban Ambassador, Her Excellency Teresita de Jesús Vicente Sotolongo, is the magnificent setting for an illustrious evening that sees the great and the good of the cigar world break bread with film and theatre actors, musicians, athletes, chefs, writers, philanthropists, soldiers, business leaders, politicians and the London commentariat.

What everyone has in common is a true love of cigars, fine wine, superb food and friendship.

To celebrate our passion for cigars we have created a warm and intimate evening that has a very special place in the cigar aficionados calendar. After the Habanos Cigar Festival Dinner in Havana, we believe this is the greatest Cigar Awards & Dinner on the planet.
