Meet Santa, Rudolph and Freinds in this unique event
 
We are delighted to bring a unique new family new event to the Hive this Christmas. Childen will meet our very own Santa Claus and take part in our special outdoor reindeer trail.

Designed to ignite the imaginations of your little ones this magical adventure includes a trail across our gardens to find Rudolph, Prancer, Dancer, Dasher and Santa's other reindeers. It's an opportunity to explore our wintery gardens and find our 9 wooden reindeer models as well as solving puzzles along the way. Finally the children will have the chance to meet Santa himself in our special little grotto where they will be given a small present from Santa himself.
 
This will be an event to rememebr for those lucky enough to secure tickets. So join us if you want to experince a family Christmas activity with a differnce. 
 
Dates:
Saturday 14th December & Sunday 15th December only

Times:

12.00noon - 1.00pm or 1pm - 2pm
This is a self lead trail so you can arrive anytime during the one hour time slot. You can take as long or as little time as necessary to complete the trail.

Location:

The Hive, Moss Bank Park, Bolton BL1 6NB

Age range:

Children aged 18m to 8 years. Accompanying parents and siblings aged under 18 months attend for free.

£3.00 per child, which includes presents for all ticket holders

What to wear
The event takes place outdoors so suitable weatherproof clothing and footwear for any parents and children entering the site is recommended.
 
Who are running the sessions?
Our sessions are run to a high standard by experienced and highly skilled Wildlife Trust Engagement Officers.
 
Where is the Hive?
The Hive is behind the Cafe on Moss Bank Park, towards the northern end. The area circled at the top is The Hive, just above the Cafe.
 
Catering
The Park Cafe will be open on the days of the event from 11am to 5.00pm. The cafe offers a wide range of hot and cold drinks, lighter snacks and hearty meals, including seasonal specials.
 
What are the facilities?
We have use of the public toilets in Moss Bank Park located just outside the entrance to the Hive. We have running water and hand
washing facilities.
 
Parking
Moss Bank Park has plenty of parking provision and parking is free across the site. We recommend that you use the Southern car park which is located at the main entrance off Moss Bank Way. It is a five-minute walk through the park to get to the Hive from this location.
 
Event cancelled?
In the unlikely event that we have the cancel the session due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme bad weather such as high winds or thunder storms we will offer a full refund.

Since then we have grown to be the largest nature conservation body in the area. We are uniquely positioned to lead change our region, working at a grass roots, local level whilst also being part of a strong cohesive movement.

We provide a whole host of different events for all ages to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and learn more about nature and wildlife while having fun at the same time!
