Event description

Description

Come and join us for a Christmas party you will never ever forget and help transform the lives of disadvantaged young people living in Warwickshire and Coventry.

How it Began

Santas Rock Snowdon began as a few friends wanting to do something different to raise money at Christmas. The Santa Dash had been done time and again and something new was needed. We decided that instead of running round the streets in Santa suits we would do it up a mountain. The result was a big success with over £800 raised!

In 2016 it got even better. The number of santas tripled and we raised over £2,100. To top it off, we played the highest gig in the UK that Christmas which also gave us an appearance on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire Radio and saw us featured in multiple newspapers.

This year promises to be even better! We are expanding from the highest gig to the highest Christmas party and we are opening it up to businesses and keen mountain walkers to join us for this spectacular event.

About Santas Rock Snowdon 2017

Starting at Pen-Y-Pas at 9:30 a.m. for a safety briefing, party packs and photos, groups will walk the Pyg route with the support of a qualified mountain leader. Once at the summit, you'll enjoy the highest Christmas party in the UK, after which we head down the mountain, arriving back at about 5 p.m..

Book your place for £30 (£120 for a team) and commit to raising a minimum of £250 (£1,000 for a team). We can set up your online fundraising pages, and provide sponsorship forms and collection buckets.

About our Charity

Santas Rock Snowdon is a unique event organised by Young People First, a registered charity that each year supports hundreds of young people. We tackle some of the biggest issues facing young people today including family breakdown, abuse, mental health issues, poverty and unemployment. Our team of professionally qualified youth workers use a combination of one-to-one mentoring, small group projects and youth clubs to build self-esteem, confidence and skills so that each young person can reach their potential.
