It's less than a week until Christmas.
The hustle and bustle of Santa's workshop is briefly interrupted as Lapland Police's chief detective storms into the building.
"Everyone... um... I......" he stutters, "It's Santa... He's dead!"
A bloodcurdling shriek echoes through the building. Mrs Clause rushes over to the inspector, her face a mixture of disbelief and confusion.
"I'm so sorry, but I can't tell you any more than that right now" the inspector explains, "His untimely death is more than suspicious.... I have the entire force working on it but we're understaffed as it is... We need to speak to everyone, and we need help."
As a person of interest you are required to attend a meeting at the Town Hall on the 19th December. The inspector will present the facts and circumstance, as well as discussing potential motives and suspicious parties. You will have opportunities to plead your innocence, provide an alibi, and assist the police force with their investigation.
Attendance in groups of 4, 6 or 8 is encouraged, although a small number of single spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Participation in the investigation will cost £10 per person, due to budget constraints on the Lapland police force.
The community of Lapland has been shaken to its core. Will you help? Or will you stand by and watch?
