Hi everyone,

My name is Maia Wain. I am 11 years old and I have been working hard every week to raise money for a charity called Together For Short Lives.

This charity is very close to my heart as my brother lived a very short life.

Each week I have set myself a new challenge and on the first week I completed a 5k run!

This got me thinking 🤔 and that’s when it hit me! Christmas is going to be very hard this year and I want to bring the full of the UK together.

At 10am on Sunday 13th December I would love all Boys, Girls, Mums, Dads, Aunts, Uncles, Nans and Grandads to pop on their Christmas jumpers, hats or go all out in your Santa suits and run, walk or crawl 5k for charity.

You will need to record your distance on an app and submit it to this page along with a photo, all images will be advertised on our page and everyone who completes the race will be sent a Santa’s certificate.

Entry is only £5 per immidiate family. Certificate will be issued with immidiate family names.

Tickets will soon go live but for now I ask you all to help me share as wide as possible.

Every penny will go to Together For Short Lives as no-one should live a short life and if they have to let’s help make it as best as we possibly can for them ❤️
