Overview

A Sunday morning and afternoon spent in the company of the Royal Hospital Chelsea in pensioners. REA members.

This event is not open to the general public. It is only open to Royal Engineer Association Members and there guests.

Sapper Sunday returns for 2026! Let's be honest Sapper Sunday is a great excuse to visit the Royal Hospital Chelsea (RHC) and a few beers and a curry with the Sapper In Pensioners.

So the format....

Turn up at the RHC at 10am (suit blazer / Sunday best....don't forget your beret). A 30 min parade (the In Pensioners can manage it so can you).

Followed by a church service in the historic Christopher Wren Chapel (For those who fancy it). Then it's to the In Pensioners Club for a beer and curry.

The Sapper Charity doesn't charge a ticket price for this event, however we ask for a donation - whatever you feel comfortable giving. Attendance is limited to 100 places.
