November 2016 sees the return of Manchester's Sapphormation Festival, for Women Who Love Women....
The fourth Sapphormation Festival is a day event of activity, discussion, live performance and good food taking place on 5th November. This year's theme is 'Stories' and provides a welcoming and eclectic space to try out new things and explore key issues and ideas relevant to women today. There are a great many things to enjoy as part of the Sapphormation Festival and you can find out everything that is on offer at www.sapphormation.com.
The main home of the festival, where most events are happening, is the Joyce Layland LGBT Centre, Manchester, M1 7HB which is also home to Sidney St Cafe, who will be offering delicious delights 10-5:30pm on the day.
Taking part in the Sapphormation Festival is entirely free but make sure to bring some coins to enjoy the scrumptious cafe offerings. Whilst there is no planned evening event associated with the festival as it is the 5th November there is an event in South Manchester that might be of interest. The Carlton Club in Whalley Range are offering a Bonfire and Fireworks display from 6pm-late (more details here) which a number of attendees will be going on to. The event is also free but donations are welcomed directly by the club.
Sapphormation is open to all women who love women of all ages and is inclusive of Trans women who identify as women who love women. Most of the events are a family friendly space and children are welcome as long as they are supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
If you wish to attend the Sapphormation Festival please choose the General Admission ticket option.
If you would like to book on to attend one or more of the workshops listed above please also choose a ticket for that event. To avoid disappoint it is recommended that attendees book their workshop choices in advance of the festival.
