About this event
Sara Wolff and Bed Breakfast are hitting the road this summer, bringing Sara's alt-folk to unconventional spaces all around the country!
SARA WOLFF is not good at writing about herself, but she is an independent artist and independent artists have to do that sort of thing. Her friends in Liverpool say that she makes alternative folk music. She says that's probably true, but she is influenced by a lot of other sounds too.
She released her debut EP, 'When you Left The Room', in 2021. It is an EP about fraying relationships and botched social interactions, recalling the off-kilter approach of Fiona Apple and Cate Le Bon.
Accompanied by visuals, a cassette machine and her guitar, Sara will play time-warped versions of her EP as well as a handful of new works. This will be her first tour around the United Kingdom.

Born in the North-West of the UK, HANNAH ASHCROFT is a guitarist, singer and songwriter whose material and live shows have made her an indelible part of the Manchester indie music scene today.
Inspired by the likes of Nick Drake and St Vincent, her prowess on the guitar is equally impressive on the acoustic as on the electric guitar. Combined with ethereal vocals, she creates a sound which effortlessly bridges indie, folk and alternative.
Hannah’s music has gained initial acclaim from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music as well as tastemakers Clash, Crack Magazine and Amazing Radio.

The eclectic composer and Manchester-dweller SEAN ROGAN approaches music with a clear motive: to innovate, collaborate and communicate. Rogan’s back catalogue of musical projects has evolved over the years, from playing and writing with dream-pop outfit Diving Station, to Manchester’s ‘pop visionary’ MYTBE, and countless appearances as a guitarist and a producer in other projects. He has performed around the UK extensively, both as a solo artist and with Diving Station, who were seen on festival lineups including Glastonbury, Bluedot, and Kendal Calling.
Sean Rogan released his first EP ‘To Speak’ in early 2021. Informed by years of collaboration, the EP gave him an opportunity to curate the recording process with various performers in a style akin to Frank Ocean, Bon Iver and Kanye West. The EP received praise and support from local radio stations and blogs, and regular airplay from Amazing Radio, where a live session was also featured for their CMJ Music Marathon. With self-recorded, broken soundscapes accompanying highly introspective lyrics, this EP signalled the start of an expansive yet intimate take on the singer-songwriter approach.
Following the release of ‘To Speak’, Rogan to and froed regularly between the buzz of Rusholme and the quaintness of Marple to compose and record a new body of work for release on the UK/Australian label Kinda Grizzly. The first single from this project is ‘Neighbour’, a story of openness, community and mental barriers, with more music to be shared and live shows later in 2021.
