About this Event
Sarah Burns is a pattern designer & natural dyer. She studied politics at Cambridge & Textile Design at Chelsea College of Art. Her seasonally dyed & block printed fabrics are inspired by the South Downs in Sussex where she lives and works. She has written and published the first monograph on 1930's block printers Phyllis Barron & Dorothy Larcher and has designed for the Virginia White Collection & the Dartington Trust.
