Event description

Description

Susanna Cordner in conversation with celebrated footwear designer and LCF alumnus, Rupert Sanderson.

In our ‘Sartorial Stories’ series of In Conversations, Susanna Cordner, Senior Research Fellow, London College of Fashion Archives, interviews leading figures from the fashion industry and invites them to bring in one item from their wardrobe or from their work. To show you how much an object can represent, and the different ways in which people think about and ‘read’ their clothes, depending on their expertise, this item then forms the basis of the conversation.

One of a series of talks, workshops and events as part of the Footnotes: Intimate stories of shoes exhibition.

The talk is free to UAL students and there is a reduced entrance fee of £5 for all others to Sutton House for this talk, which also includes entry to the exhbition, payable at the venue.

Booking is essential.
