Surfers Against Sewage Million Mile beach clean organised by regional rep, Daisy.

We are ocean activists!

  • Part of the Million Mile Clean mobilising 1 million volunteers to clean over 10 million miles of UK landscape.
  • Meet at the Banjo Groyne at 10am on Sunday 21st Sept 2025 to help us keep our beautiful beach clean! Group photo before heading off and returning for a bag weigh.
  • Everyone welcome! Group sizes vary from two to twenty five. Perfect for families, small groups, newbie beach cleaners and regulars.
  • Bags and gloves supplied. Will bring 4-5 litter pickers for those who need them.

  • *Subject to change/postpone if weather is really bad.
  • If sold out, come anyway! There's no limit :)

It’s not essential to RSVP, but we’d love it if you could so we know how many people to expect. This helps us with planning the clean-up and ensuring we have enough supplies. let us know you are coming by booking a ticket here.

Will the beach clean be suitable for all ages?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome people of all ages and abilities. It's a family-friendly event, so feel free to bring the kids along—everyone can play a part in making the beach cleaner!

Do you bring litter pickers?

SAS bags and gloves supplied, will bring 4-5 litter pickers for those who need them. If you have one of your own, then do please bring.
