The Implications of the SEND Green Paper and Education White Paper for assessment, intervention, support and parental engagement
About this event
Session speaker - BRIAN LAMB: Visiting Professor of Special Educational Needs and Disability, Derby University
Brian will summarise and discuss relevant sections of the government’s recent Schools White Paper and March 2022 SEND Review Green Paper, ‘Right Support, Right Place, Right Time’. Brian will link this discussion to SECTION D of the SASC dyslexia paper, on context and policy, which looks at the key political, structural and economic factors that influence access to assessment, intervention and support for literacy difficulties experienced by children and adults, including those identified with dyslexia/specific learning difficulties.
