Discover the world of traditional Japanese Sashiko embroidery in this creative and mindful workshop.

Create an embroidered purse/card-holder with your own Sashiko embellishment. Learn some basic machine sewing techniques as you construct your sectioned purse.

Choose from a wide range of colours and designs to create your purse.

All materials provided, but you are welcome to bring any non-stretchy woven materials to use – a pair of old jeans is perfect! Great for breathing new life into your old clothes and keeping them out of landfill!

This is a great activity for avoiding textile waste and is a fun, creative and meditative way to spend a couple of hours. You will leave the workshop excited to apply your new skills.
