About this event

The catacombs at Brompton Cemetery are only open to visitors two to three times a year. Join us for our next opening, and enjoy a guided tour with our volunteer guides. Tours last about 20 minutes.

Suitable for over 12 years. Please note that there are steps and uneven surfaces.

Please go to the Ticket Desk 15 minutes before your chosen time to validate your booking and collect a paper entrance ticket. Weather permitting, the Ticket Desk will be located outside, in the Great Circle, at the head of the catacomb steps - otherwise, it will be in the Chapel. Once you have your paper ticket from the Ticket Desk, you may assemble at the steps leading down to the Catacombs in time for your tour. The Catacombs entrance is part way down the Avenue between the Chapel and North Lodge on Old Brompton Road.

Tours are £5 per person plus £1.13 booking fee.

Friends of Brompton Cemetery is a registered charity working to preserve and promote the historic Cemetery for today's community. We help to maintain the cemetery's buildings, monuments and landscape, and offer guided tours, an Information Centre and a varied programme of events and activities. We are all volunteers and appreciate your support.
