START DATE JANUARY 2017

Goldsmiths Confucius Institute will be offering a series of Saturday classes open for children and adults to experience Chinese Culture. These include YCT mandarin classes, Children and Adult Dance classes and Children and Adult Martial Arts classes.

Minimum of 5 students per class. If you sign up to two or more classes than you will receive a 15% discount.

 This is an introductory course for 5 weeks. More classes will be available due to demand. 

 

 

Saturday 1:30pm – 2.30pm

 YCT Mandarin Class (6-11 year olds) - £60

 The content of the course is according to the new primary and middle school students' Chinese test (YCT) teaching material. This course will offer students study of Chinese systematically. It can also help students to study towards YCT and HSK certificates.

 

YCT Mandarin Class (12-16 year olds) - £60

 The content of the course is according to the new primary and middle school students' Chinese test (YCT) teaching material. This course will offer students study of Chinese systematically. It can also help students to study towards YCT and HSK certificates.

 

Adult Dance Class - £45

Dance can be a fun and enjoyable way to help to improve participants overall physical health. The course will integrate Chinese and Western dance elements such as Chinese classical dance, Chinese folk dance, ballet, Modern dance, etc.

 

Adult Martial Class (Tai Chi & Qigong) - £45

 Taijiquan is one of the most traditional Chinese martial arts. It can maintain spirit, build up a good physique and alleviate stress and tension.

 

Saturday 2.45pm – 3.45pm

Children Dance Class - £30

 Students will be taught in line with Beijing Dance Academy children's dance grading test materials. This course also combines dance with Chinese song and Chinese traditional etiquette education to give children a fun and well-rounded experienceof the difference between cultures.

 

Children Martial Arts - £30

 The content of this course includes the basic skills of Chinese martial art and Chang quan. This class will enhance students’ physical and mental health.

 

Adult Dance Class - £45

 Dance can be a fun and enjoyable way to help to improve participants overall physical health. The course will integrate Chinese and Western dance elements such as Chinese classical dance, Chinese folk dance, ballet, Modern dance, etc.
