Ellen McCullough - Snap Back to Reality
Have you ever desperately tried to flush a toilet multiple times in a row, getting no results? Have you ever then taken a breath, shown patience and waited for the cistern to fill up, allowing for a big full flush that solves your problem? This workshop aims to teach you how to approach improv in the same way. Giving techniques to build tension before hitting that funny thing and getting that big flush payoff. We will explore techniques such as physical interaction with the environment, avoiding arguments and contiuous connection with base reality. Ellen has been learning, performing and teaching at the GIT since 2023, having performed with the Harold Team F.L.U.S.H and is now on house team Couch.
