Save a Kitten, Learn a Skill: Free Kitten Care Workshop in Paros
About the Workshop
Every summer, hundreds of kittens are abandoned across Paros — many just days old, still needing bottle-feeding and round-the-clock care. Most won’t survive without help.
This free, hands-on workshop is designed to equip you with the skills and confidence to care for newborn kittens — whether you’re a local, a tourist, or just a cat lover wanting to help.
Led by veterinary nurse Nastassja Renard, founder of the French organization Kitties in Paris, this session will cover the basics of kitten rescue and neonatal care. Nastassja has helped raise over 100 orphaned kittens and supported more than 80 volunteers in doing the same.
What you’ll learn:
🐾 How to safely handle newborn kittens
🍼 Bottle-feeding techniques & common mistakes
🌡️ How to keep kittens warm, clean and healthy
🚨 What to do in emergencies
🙌 How to support the community cat care project in Paros
