About this event

Safety Central is the venue for our fab and free essential first aid course. We'll start at 7pm with a tour of 'Safety Central', then at 7.30pm the course will commence. You'll learn how to deal with common, life threatening events, and at the end, can access an online certificate to prove your training.

Please note the Venue is Safety Central - the turning after the fire station if coming from the services. Please park in the correct carpark, not in the fire station itself.

No need to print tickets, but please use the 'cancel' option (On a computer, not a phone) if you can't make it - numbers are limited.

The 'Save a Life' series of courses is a Royal Lifesaving Society initiative.

The course is aimed at people aged 12+.Children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult. Please note we do cover issues such as death and serious bleeding that some find upsetting.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

While a great venue, there is no immediate public transport to Safety Central, If you can't share a lift, we will be running courses in other venues.  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No - we have a list.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes - no issues.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, no issues.

Does everyone need a ticket - it is a free event?

You need a ticket as it reserves one set of 'kit' for you to use - a COVID control. Please book a single ticket for yourself, or a group ticket for up to 4 people happy to share the same manikin (You breath into it). It doesn't really matter which ticket you book, as long as you understand the shared nature of the kit.

Why do you ask for my date of birth?

We need this to set your certificate up on the RLSS website.
