Description

Do you work in the areas of infection, immunity, inflammation & repair and would like to develop new research collaborations?

The MAHSC Inflammation and Repair Domain and The University of Manchester Infection, Immunity, Inflammation and Repair Domain aim to improve the treatment, management and care of patients with inflammatory disease.

Meeting aims:

  • To form new partnerships between scientists and health professionals to ensure collaborative research on well characterised patient cohorts brings discoveries from the laboratory bench to the bedside, and vice versa.
  • To promote the study of infection, immunity, inflammation and repair diseases, exploring the interface between biological research and its clinical applications

The morning session will cover Infection and Immunity.

The afternoon session will cover Inflammation, Repair and Acute Care & Trauma

Attendees can come for the whole day or for the morning or afternoon sessions.

Sessions will give an overview of the area, followed by short talks on strengths in Manchester, implications in disease, and discussion about new research opportunities.

Specialty areas covered: Acute Care and Trauma, Dermatology, Respiratory, Infection, Nutrition, MSK, Orthopaedics, Renal

Draft programme to be circulated in early May.

RCP CPD points will be applied for.
