Jesus chose twelve men. One of them dropped out, but the other eleven turned the world upside down. Their secret was that they had been shaped by Jesus, and were being empowered by him.

Any Christian who wants to amount to anything (in God’s eyes) needs to develop the same qualities of character and commitment that these men displayed.

Following Jesus means more than giving him ‘a thumbs up’ on social media, or ‘squeezing him in’ around the things in life that really matter. Rather, we need him to live his divine life through us. But what does that mean, and look like, in practice? That's the theme of our day conference.

With relevant bible teaching and a practical workshop session, Saved2Serve aims to equip and enthuse you in your walk and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

We're also giving a free book to each attendee at the conference. This is a great little book on our theme : "Sanctification - Transformed Life," by David Campbell.

Some practical details:

1. Food & Drink - there will be free doughnuts for everyone (probably one each, maybe more if we have spares!) We can also provide tea, coffee and water at times through the day. But you will need to bring a packed lunch (or pop out to the shops!)

2. Covid & Safety - we're currently assuming all will be well, but please don't come if you feel unwell, or have Covid-19 symptoms. If matters change closer to the date, we will let everyone know.

3. Tidying up - to keep costs down (and to say "thank you" to Highbury Baptist Church) we're hoping that YOU, the attendees would be willing to do a quick tidy up at the end of the day. Don't worry, it won't take long and it won't mean you missing your train. We still expect the day to end at 5pm.
