Everybody knows that exercise is necessary for a fit and healthy body - but how do we get a fit and healthy mind?

Life is stressful and full of problems, so how can we relax?

This retreat will introduce a number of simple meditations which, if done regularly, will restore you to mental balance and allow you to experience the joy of a naturally peaceful mind.

The day retreat is led by Lisa Newman. Lisa is a school teacher and parent, and teaches at the weekly meditation class in Wigan. She is an excellent example of a modern day Kadampa Practioner and can guide meditations in a simple yet profound way.

Chairs and cushions are provided in the meditation room.

Includes a vegi/vegan lunch.
