Event description
Not all parenting needs to be negative, loud or difficult! Saying NO to your child is one of the simplest form of discipline.

About this Event

At this event we will explore how we can say NO and set boundaries for our kids no matter what you or your child are going through (emotional/academic/social challenges, moving house, separation or divorce, anger or behavioural issues etc.) It is still our job to teach our kids limit setting even though it might be hard.

But the good news is, that once we find the right tools to say NO we become safe company to be with because our kids don't have to second guess our response to their behaviour and requests. It strengthens the connection with our child and boosts our parenting confidence knowing that WE have behaved well. Plus our kids are more likely to want to cooperate with us and our family environment becomes a calmer place to be.

Children are possibility seekers and like little scientists they will explore ways around a barrier with relentless perseverance until they have their desires met. And that is exactly as it should be! But it is our job to decide what is OK and what is not. But the way we go about saying NO and set our boundaries now will have a huge impact on how our kids respond and on the actual outcome and connections in the home.

At this webinar I will share with you my top tips and strategies for effectively communicating your boundaries in a way that sits well with you and still respects the receiver without shame and blame.

Once we master the art of saying NO it is possible for us and our child to accept and respect each other’s boundaries and limits without guilt and finger pointing.

I look forward to supporting you at this session.
