SBA Dance Masterclass Series 2025

Led by SBA Principal Mr Han Kee Juan, SBA faculty members, and distinguished guest instructors, this five-day workshop offers a rich and inspiring experience designed to develop students’ artistry, versatility, and stage confidence.

Open to students in RAD Grade 2 and above (or equivalent), the programme features daily technique and repertoire classes in ballet and either jazz or contemporary, culminating in a final-day showcase for family and friends.

In conjunction with Singapore Ballet’s year-end production, this year’s ballet repertoire class will draw from the timeless magic of Cinderella, with selected elements from the beloved classic woven into the choreography.

Following its successful introduction last year, the Pas De Deux and Men’s Ballet Technique Class returns for the Advanced level, led by Mr Han—honoured as “Teacher of Men” by Dance Teacher magazine (USA).

Participants and their families will also have the option to attend a performance of Cinderella by Singapore Ballet on 6 December 2025.

Additional Information

• Registration closes on 19 November 2025 at 12pm, or earlier if all places are filled.

• An information pack on what to prepare for the workshop will be emailed to participants in November 2025.

• There will be a daily lunch break. Students may opt for catered lunch under Optional Add-Ons. Those with special dietary requirements are advised to bring their own meals and snacks.

• As student details are collected during registration, please complete the registration process for one participant at a time.

OPTIONAL PERFORMANCE EXCURSION

Cinderella by Singapore Ballet

Date: Saturday, 6 December 2025

Time: 8pm

Venue: Esplanade Theatre

This performance excursion is accompanied by SBA staff and it is open to all workshop participants and family members.

Ticket price is for Category 1 seat at $69, after SBA discount and before tax and processing fee (usual $99).

Important: Ticket collection will be available on the actual day at the venue. More information will be shared in Nov 2023. Theatre admission is for age 4 and above.

1. Cancellation & Refund

There will be no refund of fees once your workshop registration is confirmed except where cancellation is due to medical reasons. In such cases, a partial refund will be considered on a case-to-case basis with medical report presented to SBA.

2. Photography & Videography

Singapore Ballet Academy may take photographs and videos at any time throughout the workshop and owns the rights of such photographs and videos for publication or marketing purposes.

3. Liability

Every care will be taken by the Academy to ensure the well-being of all participants during the workshop. By completing this registration, the parents/legal guardians agree that Singapore Ballet Academy will not be held liable for any personal injuries, death, or loss/damage to personal belongings sustained by the participant during the course of the the workshop.
