On 18 May, for one day only, Botanical Art Worldwide, a groundbreaking collaboration between botanical artists, organisations and institutions worldwide, creating and exhibiting botanical artworks of the native plants found in each of 25 participating countries.

In the UK, on the theme of ‘Linking People to Plants through Botanical Art’ , The Society of Botanical Artists presents ‘Botany and Painting techniques: a day of talks and demonstrations on painting some of Britain’s indigenous species, separated into one morning event and one afternoon event.
