Dianne and David will share their experiences in developing their stunning botanical artwork

The Society of Botanical Artists, in conjunction with our International Ambassador Margaret Best, are delighted to host an inspirational talk with two leading botanical artists, Dianne Emery and David Reynolds.

Dianne is a contemporary botanical and natural history artist, living and working in Melbourne, and currently teaches botanical art for the Friends of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne. She has exhibited widely, won the Celia Rosser medal five times and her work is held in public and private collections in Australia and overseas.

David is an award winning Australian watercolour artist and tutor with the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne and Nature in Art at Park Orchards. He specialises in Australian flora and fauna, exotic plants and wildlife. David has botanical artwork represented in the State Collections of the Botanic Gardens both in Melbourne and Sydney as well as private collections in Australia and overseas.

Both artists won awards for their paintings at the SBA’s Plantae exhibition in 2024.

The live talk will be held at 1:00 PM Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney time, and recordings will be available shortly afterwards.
