SBRI Healthcare - Competition 21 - Phase 3 - Briefing Webinar

SBRI Healthcare is delighted to invite applications to tender for projects to implement medical devices, in vitro diagnostics, digital health solutions, behavioral interventions, software, artificial intelligence, and new models of care to address challenges in the following themes:

• Respiratory diseases
• Prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

The aim of this competition is to accelerate the delivery of promising innovations in late-stage development into real-world healthcare settings.

This funding opportunity will allow applicants to shorten the gap between research and the uptake of innovations into practice, by building the evidence required for successful implementation.

A briefing webinar will be held for interested competitors on 20 June 2022 at 14:00.

The application portal will be open from 14 June to 26 July 2022.

The event will provide an opportunity to find out more about the Competition, hear about the healthcare challenges from clinical experts in the sector, find out how the AHSNs can provide support and ask questions. The day will feature presentations by:

• Leading Clinician in the field
• The AHSNs
• The SBRI Healthcare team

The key aims of the day is to:

• Introduce the SBRI Healthcare programme, and aims of the Phase 3 competition
• Explain more in detail what challenges in healthcare the call is aiming to address, and provide a clearer view of the type of innovations encouraged to apply.
• Understand the role of the AHSNs, how they are best placed to support projects, and hear tips about implementation studies and evaluations
• Allow applicants to ask questions to presenters.
