About this event

Think you can take the highest mountain in England?

Then join our expert guides and make memories to last a lifetime with the Wanderlust Women!

Epic views, dramatic boulder fields, deep valleys, and beautiful lakes! Summiting Scafell Pike, one of Englands highest mountains measuring 978 m (3,209 ft) high, this is a challenge that has something for everyone - and will leave you with a deep sense of achievement and humility.

Wasdale is a remote and beautiful valley and is also home to England's deepest Lake - Wast Water. Our route takes us up and back down the most popular and most direct path to the summit from the National trust car park at Wasdale head.

The path has 900m of ascent and is very stoney and steep in places so not suitable for beginners. Some previous experience of mountain hiking and a good level of fitness is nessicary to enjoy this walk. The summit of Scafell Pike is a boulder field and care needs to be taken to get across it to reach the summit. It is well worth the effort for the panoramic 360° views across the entire lake district from the top.

Scafell Pike is a strenuous climb, however, it is something a person of moderate fitness can do with little preparation, following an expert guide and the right approach.

The Wanderlust Women are working together with MATW Project, we are dedicated to making a lasting impact to those in need in Palestine. With each ticket purchased, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity for Palestine, supporting a noble cause and making a positive impact on those in need. Let's come together to make a difference and spread joy in our community.
