SCALARAMA

A nationwide, volunteer led, month long celebration inspired by the energy and creativity of the legendary Scala Cinema (1978-1993) near Kings Cross in London, famous for cult movies, music films, horror, Kung Fu and LGBT+ showings, encouraging communities to come to together to watch screenings in usual and unusual places. It runs every September from 1-30 and this year is it's 10th anniversary.

CHARITY SHOP SUE

Created by Notts based creative media company headed up by Timothy Chesney, Matthew Chesney, Stuart Edwards and starring local legend Selina Mosinski as the infamous Charity Shop Sue. With cameos from Vicky McClure and Shane Meadows, this mockumentary of Bulwell Charity Shop documents the life of charity shop manager Sue Tuke, attempting to raise the shop’s profile, get the business ‘on the net’ and become a YouTube sensation! 🤣
