Scale Up Silver to Gold Growth Pathway - Creating successful strategies

Are you looking to scale up your business? Do you want to drive growth and develop the future of your business? Would you love to discuss and brainstorm how to do this with like-minded businesses owners, whilst learning more about the key challenges, tactics and strategies for scaling up? Would you like to do this with the support of an experienced and impartial, unbiased, supportive business coaching facilitator? Would you like all this for free? If so this is for you.

Who is it for?

It may be a cliche but it is lonely at the top and can be hard to find people who understand your role. This series of events can offer you your very own board of advisers who truly understand.

As part of the Silver to Gold Pathway programme, you will be seated with other like-minded CEOs, founders, owners and successful business leaders from a variety of industries who understand the challenges you face. Together and with the structured and interactive support of Tom Yeung, our experienced and successful business coach, you will cover all the key areas which can affect your businesses scaling and growth potential. Tom will work with you and as part of the group discussions and learning, support you through your own and the groups' journey to conquer challenges, find solutions and look for new opportunities and perspectives to enable you to plan and deliver the growth and scaling of your business both successfully and sustainably.

To be part of this programme you will be nominated to attend by an adviser from the New Anglia Growth Hub. This event is exclusive to the New Anglia Growth Hub and only offered free to those who the advisers feel this would be a real benefit too.

How does Silver to Gold Growth Pathway work?

This programme combines group and traditional learning styles within a dedicated and supportive group environment of like-minded business leaders. Bringing together alternative but thought processes and perspectives with, new and old ideas, analytical discussion and reviews, culminating in helping you and the group support each other to creating plans for your growing future.

The success of the group is due to the commitment and support of its members, who are dedicated to improving their businesses, their leadership, their community and each other. The group requires commitment, confidentiality and a willingness to both give and receive advice and ideas. Members support each other with total honesty, respect and compassion. It demands accountability, increases your focus and confidence resulting in improved performance for both yourself and your company.

What happens and who is suitable for the Silver to Gold Growth Pathway?

  • A group of up to 15 business owners will attend this series of Silver to Gold Growth events

  • These business owners can be from any business sector but must have the desire to want to develop and grow their business.

  • You will commit to a monthly offsite meeting at the Park Hotel Diss, 1 per month for 6 months. The first is scheduled to for the 5th February 2020.

  • The sessions will be facilitated by Tom Yeung, a highly experienced business coach and with a proven record in business and talent development and delivered similar programmes outside of these sessions.

  • You will be part of lively, authentic discussions based on current business and development challenges.

  • Members are the key to this programme, challenging each other to set clear goals.

  • Members share success stories and challenges with each other openly and confidentially.

  • Problems are solved through members brainstorming and collective creative thinking.

What does the facilitator do?

The facilitator will introduce ideas and insights on topics that matter to you, manage the expectations of the group and help you gain insights into your future development needs. They will help to channel and focus discuss and draw out the key information, strategies and shared learning from the group.

They will ensure your events achieve the growth and development you are all looking for. They will help you create and develop strategies that will enable you to reach the goals you desire.

This event is 4 hours in duration and will provide 3hrs and 30mins of Information, Diagnostic and Brokerage (IBD*). This is equivalent to £175 worth of State Aid. We are able to deliver this is free of charge to you with thanks to funding from the European Regional Development Fund.

I would like to book for more than one person from my company?

Due to the popularity of these events, we are only able to allow one person per company to attend. However, please email sue.simmons@newanglia.co.uk, if you wish a colleague to attend as well and if we have cancellations we will notify you immediately in a first-come, first-served basis to offer another ticket.

What are my options for getting to and from the event?

What will be done with the information I supply?

Your information will be stored on Eventbrite according to Eventbrite terms and conditions. Upon arrival you will be required to sign in on our attendance sheet, to provide evidence of your physical attendance, state aid and feedback form for the event, and if we are missing of the key data, such as company name, address contact number a form to collect this missing information. This will be kept on the server as evidence for our ERDF funding for the length of the contract evidence requirements. After your attendance will be stored on the secure Growth Hub CRM system. This is required in order to provide evidence of your attendance and eligibility for the course. This will be kept to the statutory dates any only accessible to Growth Programme and authorised personnel. If you request further contact from an adviser post this event they will use this information to contact you and log any future interactions, again to evidence for ERDF funding.

Your information will not be given to any third parties without your permission. However we will share your details with our trainers if you tick the sign-in box next to your signature upon signing in, so they are able to contact you should you wish them to.

Any paperwork completed by you for the course, you are welcome to have copies of upon request.

State Aid Declaration

This event is delivered, free of charge, to SMEs (SME is defined as an Enterprise with fewer than 250 employees and has either an annual balance sheet not exceeding £40m or Annual Turnover not exceeding £35m) other restrictions may apply. This support is being provided as de minimis aid under EC Regulation 1407/2013 (De Minimis Aid Regulation). The value of this support has been calculated as £175.

Please note: This is not a request for payment; we are merely required to notify you of the value, which will be relevant if you wish to apply or have applied for any other de minimis State Aid in the future. There is a ceiling of €200,000 for all de minimis aid provided to anyone organisation over a three fiscal year period (i.e. your current fiscal year and previous two fiscal years).
