Our Partners

SeedLegals

SeedLegals was founded by serial entrepreneur Anthony Rose and serial angel investor Laurent Laffy who met at a party in Rome. They'd both had enough of paying insane amounts of money to lawyers for the same legal documents at every funding round, and funding rounds taking months to negotiate and close. They decided to change it.

Fast forward 6 months and SeedLegals launched as the world’s first platform that lets founders and investors easily create, negotiate and sign all the legal agreements they need to do a funding round. In less than 3 years, SeedLegals is now the largest closer of funding rounds in the UK

Crowdcube

Crowdcube was inspired by an unshakable belief in entrepreneurs that dream big, push at the edges and want to make a difference, big and small.

They were motivated by a post-recession world, where it was harder than ever for ambitious entrepreneurs to raise money to bring their innovative ideas to life and turn their vision into reality.

And so they were spurred on by making equity investment accessible, so exciting businesses could harness the belief they get from customers, investors and friends to fuel a more wonderful tomorrow.

Speaker Bios

Anthony is a serial tech entrepreneur whose career has spanned across many sectors including the advent of 3D graphics, P2P music, video streaming, social TV, social platforms, and most recently, legal technology.

Anthony led the team as CTO from 2007 until 2010, taking the BBC iPlayer from pre-launch to success, eventually ending up leading most of the BBC’s online proposition and managing a team of 250 people.

Anthony is co-founder and CEO of SeedLegals, the world’s first legal automation platform for startup funding that closed their own $4 million Series A funding round in May 2019 led by Index Ventures. SeedLegals is now the largest closer of funding rounds in the UK, and is forecast to process 20% of all UK funding rounds by the end of 2019.
