Join Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust at Sandford Primary School to explore the heaths behind. Let’s go on a reptile ramble around the heaths of Sandford – snakes and lizards live here, let’s go find them!
Please note, this walk involves some inclines and uneven terrain.
What to bring/wear: Trousers are recommended to reduce the risk of ticks. Please bring suncream/hat and shoes to walk off-road in.
All children must be supervised by an accompanying adult
🌿 Please be aware that there will be a 10 min walk across a brambly woodland area at the back of the school to start with — we recommend wearing trousers, but it’s all part of the adventure 🗺️!
Note – toilets will be open but there won’t be anywhere to buy snacks/refreshments
Age range: 6-13
Parking/how to get there: free and plentiful parking at the school.
