Keynote | From Paris to COP30: Tracking Progress in Global Climate Policy
A decade on from the Paris Agreement, the architecture of international climate governance faces both its greatest test and its greatest opportunity. This keynote examines how the frameworks established in Paris have evolved through successive COPs — assessing progress on policy integration, transparency, and international cooperation, including at COP30 in Belém. It will explore the evolution of climate finance and the integration of sustainability principles into global markets, investment flows, and public policy. Specifically, it will unpack key national initiatives, blended finance models, and emerging carbon pricing systems and analyse the state of global climate policy in 2025.
