Description

Scaling up Public Engagement with Research: Emergent ideas from the Global Systems Institute

Date: Wednesday 25 April 2018
Time: 10:00 - 11:30
Venues: Conference Room 2, XFi Building, Rennes Drive, University of Exeter, with a video link to Exchange Seminar Room Yellow, Penryn Campus.

Event Information

This workshop will be based on an initiative currently in development to embed PER within the Global Systems Institute from its inception, including the ambition to establish a Global Citizen Engagement Network at the heart of the Institute but with potentially a University-wide remit. It will build on a rapid review of evidence that has recently been completed and will interrogate the possible ways of moving forward that are being explored on the back of this.

This is an emergent idea and we are keen to engage with as many perspectives as possible whilst in this early stage of development. In the workshop we will give a brief overview of our research and thinking to date and will then open up to discussion and critique.
