Participants who have completed IMM Dry Needling/Medical Acupuncture Course (Level 1)

Participants who have completed a basic acupuncture course and be working as a healthcare practitioner.

Course Description

The basic scalp acupuncture workshop will introduce the origin and development of scalp acupuncture (SA), the location of stimulation areas and indications, the manipulations and cautions of scalp acupuncture and its clinical applications and sample case treatments.
After the course, participants will understand basic brain knowledge of Chinese medicine and western medicine, may bring back the basic skills of SA location, indication and technique, and start to practice SA on your own clinic patients.

Day 2 • Scalp acupuncture needling and demonstration • Practice of location and needling, workshop 3 • SA sample treatment 1: neurological conditions • SA sample treatment 2: mental conditions with practice Notes: During the practical class, participants are expected to administer and receive needling. If you are pregnant and would like to discuss if you are able to attend, please contact us. You must possess adequate public liability insurance. Scalp Acupuncture is covered by general acupuncture, if in doubt contact your insurer accordingly. Participants are required to complete the 2-day workshop for attainment of CPD Certificate.
