SCAN Affiliations: Introduction to Reserves Policies
Overview
This session is designed for artist-run initiatives who are looking to build longer term financial resilience. Charity finance specialist Liz Pepler will introduce the importance of reserves, with practical advice on Charity Commission requirements, determining how much you need, and what a good reserves policy looks like. She will also advise on what to do when building reserves is a challenge. You will leave with a suite of helpful materials including a pre-recorded version of the session, a slide deck and a worksheet.
SCAN Affiliations is Scottish Contemporary Art Network's new learning and development programme of workshops, talks and events tailored for artist-run initiatives (ARIs) in Scotland.
