Have a go at scanning some of our glass negatives. See the transformation from dark piece of glass to rich digital photograph as you safeguard images for the future and explore the collection. A computer and scanner are set up in the space and participants can have a go at scanning some glass plates from the Harris’ collection. They can learn about setting up the scanner, how to safely handle the plates, how to use Adobe Photoshop to improve the quality of the scanned images and what the best format to save them in.
