The SCCJR International Network is excited to be hosting a free online ‘speed-dating’ networking event on Friday 5 May 2023 11-1.30 UK time. This event will offer opportunity for researchers (both staff and PGR) within the SCCJR and its international partners to connect with each other, in order to build capacity and expand their networks.

When you sign up below, you will be asked two questions:

Please describe your research area of interest, including any research questions you are interested in and any methodologies you use or intend to use;
Please provide as much detail as possible on your geographical area of focus (countries/regions/provinces/states/cities etc).

We will then use this information to identify useful contacts for you and assemble breakout rooms with colleagues that have complimentary interests. There will be 3 breakout room sessions in total of 45min each, based on research topic, methodology, and geographical area of focus. During these breakout rooms, everyone will be asked to briefly outline their research interests so as to identify common themes. We hope that this will provide a platform to forge new research and teaching collaborations.

Who can participate?

This event is for any PGRs and staff within the SCCJR network, including its international partners. Please let us know if you have any linguistic or other requirements to participate in this event.

When will the event take place?

The event will take place on 5 May 2023 from 11am to 1.30pm UK time. This time was chosen to accommodate different time zones of our international partners.
