Scenarios & Storyboards in UX Design
Tue 18 October 2016, 19:00 – 21:00 BST
In UX design we use scenarios to create detailed descriptions of how a user uses a product/service and the motivation behind it. They outline the main goal of the user for using a particular product and enable us to better communicate concepts and solutions, allowing us to get feedback from stakeholder and test initial ideas before building prototypes. Storyboards are a visual component and help to enhance the scenarios with pictures/drawings showing the user, how a product is being used and the context it is being used in.
In this session, you will learn how to create scenarios and storyboards. Explore ways in which you can better communicate and test product ideas/solutions/concepts.
By the end of the meetup you should be able to:
- create scenarios
- create storyboards to support your scenarios
- confidently use scenarios to communicate ideas and concepts
- use scenarios to test initial solutions
Another hands-on session with exercises, discussions and introduction to a new UX design topic.
I look forward to seeing you again.
