Don't miss out on this chance to connect and explore some fantastic stories from the comfort of your home as part of the Somerville Community Growing Center (SCGC) 25/26 Winter Programming.
Session 1: The Serviceberry
For the first session, on January 29th, we will talk about The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall Kimmerer. In Serviceberry, Kimmerer invites us to learn from Indigenous wisdom and the plant world to reimagine what we value most. Kimmerer writes about the economy of reciprocity, based on the natural cycle of the serviceberry, that emphasizes the value of the quality of our relationships to determine wealth and security.
