The ‘lockdown’ workshops are divided into three sessions, across two days. The content of each session will follow on from the previous one.

• PM Tues 21/01 – Lynsey Draycott - CEO Matrix Academy - Matrix Academy’s approach

10.00am – 1pm

• AM Tues 25/03 – Phil Dolby - Consolidation event

By booking on to the workshops, you will benefit from comprehensive and practical training that will equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to handle a lockdown effectively and safely.

The event will give school leaders the opportunity to come together to work collaboratively on key resilient themes:

• Pre-lockdown considerations, e.g. risk assessment/credible risk, real time audit using the National Decision Model (NDM), using a graduated approach

• Gold/Silver/Bronze Command roles

• Risk scenarios

• A review of current 'Lockdown Polices' we have in place - can we co-design as a group an exemplar policy

Objectives & Outcomes of the course:

• The aim of these sessions is to further develop our confidence as school leaders in the area of resilience planning.

• Through greater collaboration we will generate a spirit of consistency of approach across the borough.
