School Exclusion Support Hub

The SEND Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) in South Tyneside is running a School Exclusion Support Hub for parents and carers whose child may currently be or have previously been impacted by school exclusion. This could include fixed-term or permanent exclusions, as well as informal exclusions, such as being sent home to 'cool off.'

The group will provide an opportunity for parents/carers to share information and discuss with each other about their own experiences, while also finding out more about how the service may be able to support, or provide signposting to organisations within the local area.
