Event Information
Event description
Description
Kids love sushi! and even if they say they don't, they usually do by the end of one of our workshops...
Our summer holiday sushi workshops were such a hit we will be back hosting sushi-making workshops for children aged 5+ at The Plough, Upper Wolvercote during February half term and the Easter holidays.
This is a hands-on event where the children will learn to make and eat their own sushi. We won't be including any raw fish and there will be no sharp knives. We will use familiar ingredients such as tuna mayo, seafood sticks, breaded chicken and heaps of crunchy veggies. We will make temaki hand rolls, veggie hosomaki, inari tofu pouches and nigiri using fun shaped moulds.
The cost is £16 per child, the child's grown up must stay on site at The Plough for the duration of the class. Please let us know about any food allergies when booking your place. Pre-order of ingredients is required, we will email you once you have booked to take your choices.
