You are warmly invited to join London Met’s School of Human Sciences inaugural Research Horizon Conference on Tuesday 7 May 2019, from 9.30am-4.30pm.

This thought-provoking event will feature research talks from our postgraduate students and special guests, and will include participation by companies such as Agilent Technologies, Fisher Scientific and Qiagen. Agilent Technologies has generously sponsored refreshments for the post-conference networking session.

The day’s agenda includes:

  • 9.30am: Tea and coffee reception

  • 10am: Head of School's Welcome (Dr Trushar Adatia)

  • 10.15am - 1pm: Keynote speaker presentation and research talks 

  • 1pm: Lunch and networking session

  • 2pm: Further research talks

  • 4.30pm: Post-conference networking session

We are pleased to offer tea, coffee and lunch to all participants.  We request you book your place by Monday 29 April so that we may confirm catering.

School of Human Sciences

The School of Human Sciences offers a wide range of courses in subjects including applied biology, biomedical sciences, chemical and pharmaceutical Sciences, nutrition and dietetics, and sports science and therapy. Students have access to an impressive range of specialist facilities as well as support from experienced, highly qualified and enthusiastic academics. Graduates of our human sciences degrees have gone on to work for companies such as the NHS, the Nutrition Society, Arsenal and Chelsea Football Clubs, and GlaxoSmithKline, working as consultant nutritionists, sports therapists, lab researchers, food technologists, microbiology technicians, biotechnologists and more.
