The School of Law of the University of Leeds is pleased to announce its annual one-day Postgraduate research conference.

About this Event

The Conference will be held online, hosted by the School of Law of the University of Leeds on the 14th of May 2021. It will provide a great opportunity for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) in Law and Criminology to present their work and receive valuable feedback and to develop their scholarship in a constructive and collaborative environment for PGRs. PGRs at any stage in their research studies are encouraged to participate. Presentations can be five minutes or fifteen minutes in length.

There will be three conference streams, including but not limited to.

• Business Law: Commercial law; corporate law; intellectual property law; tax law; technology and business law; competition law; insolvency law; international trade law; private international law; contract law and European Union law.

• Criminal Justice Studies: Policing; penology; security; technology; cybercrime; counter-terrorism; criminology; evidence; youth crime and justice; criminal justice policy; criminal justice processes; criminal justice agencies; international and comparative criminology and historic criminology.

• Law and Social Justice: Human rights; public international law; healthcare law; disability law; law and inequality; legal education; labour law; law, gender and sexuality; social and legal theory; and activism.

The Conference is completely free of charge.
