Event description
Inviting you to reconnect with the University of Edinburgh School of Social and Political Science in an evening event on 12 February 2020.

About this event

On behalf of Professor Peter Mathieson, Principal and Vice-Chancellor, and Professor Linda McKie, Dean and Head of the School of Social and Political Science, we are delighted to extend a warm invitation to an evening celebration.

The event will be an opportunity to catch up with fellow alumni, make connections with staff and students, and hear how you can stay involved with the School and University community.

The occasion will also mark the official launch of the Alice Brown PhD Scholarships for 2019/20, a new flagship programme at the School supporting talented students who could not otherwise afford to pursue postgraduate study. We are pleased to be recognising Professor Alice Brown’s extraordinary contributions to academia and public service in Scotland and we are delighted that she will be joining us for this special event.
