About the seminar
Schools & the media
everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask...
Our autumn seminar will cover all aspects of the use and misuse of social media from an employment law perspective. We will also be joined by Nigel Lowther, PR expert, who will provide you with an overview of how to handle the media.
As always, the seminar will provide you with lots of entertaining stories and practical tips on how to keep control, limit the damage and know when and when not to take action.
The seminar will be led by employment law experts Jane Eatock, partner, and Katie Davies, partner, who will provide you with real-life case studies and practical tips on how to keep control, limit the damage and know when (and when not) to take action.
We are delighted to be joined by Nigel Lowther, journalist, editor and joint owner of the Cleethorpes Chronicle. Through his PR firm, Nigel Lowther Associates Ltd, he has advised schools, academies and Multi-Academy Trusts across Yorkshire, Humber and further afield.
Under the heading of crisis management, Nigel has helped schools deal with a huge range of issues, some sad, others unbelievable. He has also assisted with positive PR strategies.
Hopefully, you’ll leave the seminar filled not only with bacon sandwiches but a new confidence to handle tricky situations effectively and with minimal damage to reputation.
