On behalf of Newcastle Science City, Fiona Standfield would like to invite you to attend an exclusive drinks reception on Monday 9th June at The Guildhall from 6-8pm.
You will hear about the aspirations of the Newcastle Science City partnership for Science Central, and we’ll bring you up to date on progress and opportunities that the development might offer for businesses over coming months and years.
As part of the evening, you will hear from guest speaker, Lucy Armstrong, David Goldman Visiting Professor of Innovation and Enterprise at Newcastle University Business School, who will talk about the importance of innovation in the region and the role that Science Central has to play.
The event is part of the Newcastle City Futures Exhibition which takes place from 23rd May to 10th June, charting the history of Newcastle’s built heritage, whilst also looking ahead to what the future of Newcastle’s skyline will look like.
We look forward to seeing you there.
Please note that this event is taking place on the evening of the Blaydon Race so there may be road closures and travel restrictions which could affect your journey.
