What is 'Science Creates Outreach'?
Science Creates Outreach is our unique new charity, putting young people in the heart of an existing deep tech science incubator, a space where scientists and entrepreneurs are already doing extraordinary things to improve healthcare and the environment around us.
Based in the specially designed ‘Learning Lab’, the charity will give a behind-the-scenes, real world experience to groups of primary and secondary students. With immersive tours and hands-on workshops, visitors will get a chance to run experiments for themselves, have live discussions with scientists and be propelled to the centre of current global conversations.
Why ‘Science Creates Outreach’?
The past few years have highlighted more than ever how important science is as we tackle a climate change emergency and a global pandemic. We need to empower young people to be confident and skilled in problem solving, scientific curiosity and entrepreneurship so they can make a difference now and in the future. Science Creates Outreach will do this and has ambitious targets (we’re aiming for 3000 visitors in our first year).

Our charity has just been registered so is in its early infancy. We would love for you to help form its foundations. Whether through monetary donations, mentoring, sponsorship, exposure, introductions to your network, possible corporate partnering opportunities, donating equipment or anything else in between - we need your initial support to get it off the ground.
